📌WHAT MAKES A GOOD LOGO?

To achieve a good logo, one must understand the essence of a business, this is pivotal when crafting a logo. The key to a good logo lies in its ability to be appropriate, distinct, memorable, and simple.

In my logo projects, I prioritize grasping the fundamental essence of the business. This understanding becomes the blueprint for creating a logo that aligns with the brand. A good logo is:

📌 Appropriate: It reflects the nature and values of the business. The elements chosen resonate with the industry and the target audience.

📌 Distinct: It stands out from the crowd. A distinctive logo ensures that your business is easily recognizable and doesn't get lost in a sea of competitors.

📌 Memorable: The magic happens when the logo leaves a lasting impression. It should be etched in the minds of your business staff, friends, and customers, making it easy for them to recall and draw when prompted.

📌 Simple: Simplicity is key. A good logo is not cluttered with unnecessary elements. It communicates the essence of the brand straightforwardly, making it easy to understand and remember.

Many business owners often want to incorporate numerous elements into their logos. However, the true essence of a logo lies in its simplicity. It's not a signboard; it's a means of identification. Your identity is crucial, It tells people who you are.
Your name, the way you dress, and speak, your mindset, how you write, and even your signature.

People use these to identify you.

In the initial conversation with every potential client, one of the key questions I ask is "Do you have a brand strategy? Most often the answer is "No". This is because most business owners get an idea for a business, and the first thing they want to do is to brand it. This is a wrong move. 

However, starting a business demands more than just an idea. It requires a starter pack that sets the tone for a robust and coherent business identity to bring it to life:

📌 Brand Strategy - The way you think, see, and move:
This is the compass that guides your business journey. It's the underlying philosophy that shapes your decisions, actions, and overall approach. A well-defined brand strategy is the roadmap to success.

📌 Brand Messaging - The way you talk:
How you communicate is as crucial as what you communicate. Your brand messaging is the voice of your business, articulating its values, mission, and personality. It creates a language that resonates with your audience.

📌 Visual Identity - The way you dress:
Your visual identity is the attire of your business. It encompasses the design elements visually representing your brand – from colors to fonts, creating a cohesive and memorable look that distinguishes you in the market.

📌 Logo - Your unique Symbol of Identification:
The logo is the emblem that encapsulates your brand essence. This is a visual signature, a unique symbol that people associate with your business. A well-crafted logo becomes an immediate point of recognition.

All these elements are intricately woven into a strong narrative and goal for the business. When executed with precision, they collectively convey a comprehensive understanding of your business. This, in turn, establishes a sense of value and trust between you and your customers.
