Hi, I am Pratheek Punchathody, Designer, Engineer and Photographer. Being User Experience Designer at MathWorks I am responsible for creating best experiences for the technically intense products. I am a part of the team which designs and develops tools and softwares that accelerates the pace of engineering and science so our customers can do amazing things!. This is being achieved by connecting and collaborating with multiple teams to conceptualize, wireframe, prototype, visualize and test every use case and workflows. I first found my interest in design while in high school, that is when I was excited about photography. I am proud to say that photography introduced me to design. Current year is my 12th year of photography practice. In 2016, I won a National level photography award (Drishtikon’16). I found that people get connected to stuffs more in a visual way. This is when I started to think on the potential of design to solve problems. I am an engineering graduate who has taken a challenging decision of taking my passion as my career. I started my career as UX designer. My interest grew towards designing products to solve the real world problems of people. I believe design has the potential to solve each and every problem in the human life. I also look forward to contribute my best to the design community and to create awareness about design in every corner of the country with my design skills.
