Uvita - Costa Rica, @Envision festival, 2020 edition. To keep up with the heat and pace of the festival set-up, the original song was looped over and over again, everywhere, all the time. So much so, in fact, that I promised my crew I&#39;d do an edit. 🤘 3 years later, it&#39;s done 🤘

This is a masterpiece so I wanted to keep it classic, and groovy. Hope you enjoy it!

Les deux pièces forment une cage, dorée, réconfortante mais solitaire. La porte est grande ouverte et pourtant je n’ai aucune envie de sortir le bout de mon nez. Elle donne l’illusion d’un bonheur profond et serein que peut parfois procurer l’absence de corps et l’errance de l’esprit. Cet EP est une ode à l’oisiveté, toutefois anxieuse, car aussi lucide que vertigineuse. Comme un saut dans le vide dont on s’amuse à se persuader qu’il est possible de tomber tout en légèreté jusqu’au fond, sans se faire mal, sur les roches escarpées du bord de mer afin de disparaître à jamais dans l’écume, à l’abri des regards.
Et pourtant, cette pulsion d’adrénaline cotonneuse finit par s’essouffler. Une fois dissipée, finalement on décroche, car du Nutella sur du beurre sur du Roquefort, wow, calm down !

Cette musique est dédicacée à nous les psychonautes, pleins d’ardeur et toujours prêts à l’aventure intérieur, et qui parfois, n’ont pas ou plus l’intention d’affronter le tumulte, espérant finalement, en toute conscience, s’anesthésier en paix.

Merci à ma nièce ainsi qu’à Calistus Munbar d’avoir su mettre les mots sur la musique et ce sentiment. Enjoy.

A multidisciplinary creator and party activist for 20 years, he's collaborated with art collectives in France and Quebec as a DJ/Producer and in public art. Based in Bordeaux, France since 2020, his style merges dark disco, new wave and post-punk, with psychedelic basslines. 👘
